About Wilson Trucking
Wilson Logistics (also known as Wilson Trucking) started with one truck back in 1980 when Darrel Wilson wanted to realize his dream and become an over-the-road trucker. He purchased the truck, but since he was just 20 years old, he couldn’t obtain his CDL.
Darrel chose to buy more trucks, hire more drivers and grow a trucking business instead.
Fast-forward to 1996, he then buys his father’s trucking company. In 2011, the company started a new training program to help aspiring drivers obtain their CDLs. Wilson Logistics would then:
- Purchase Jim Palmer Trucking in 2014
- Purchase O&S Trucking in 2016
- Acquire RJ’s Transportation in 2017
- Acquire Market Transport in 2019
Wilson sold off their Western assets in 2021 to focus on the Midwest.
Wilson Logistics Truck Driver Pay
