- The truck must not be taller than 13’-6”

- The tractor must be 5 years old or newer
Driver Requirements
In order to drive for Empire Express as an owner operator, all drivers must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have at least 6 months of verifiable over-the-road experience
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- Must be able to pass the DOT physical exam
- Must live within the hiring area
- Must not have more than three moving violations or more than six points on your MVR within the last three years
- No DUI/DWI or reckless driving violations within the last five years
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse
- No more than 2 non-chargeable accidents or one chargeable accident within the last three years
- Felonies must be at least seven years old
