GP Transco is a company that I didn’t know much about before seeing a blip on Google News about a modern trucking carrier with old school values. But once I started digging into the company, I realized why so many people are talking about them.
What was the buzz about? Let me try to describe this in another way…
A major indicator of a trucking company’s success is turnover. Truckers are in such high demand that if they are unhappy with their employers, they can leave their positions and find another job overnight.
GP Transco has one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry.
GP Transco Reviews are very positive. In fact, they’re some of the best I’ve seen. The company’s Facebook reviews have a 5-star rating, with drivers boasting about:
- Dispatchers being amazing
- A company that caters to drivers
- Trucks that are practically brand new
- Amazing service and competitive rates
- Unrivaled flexibility for drivers
- Honest company
- Safety department doing a good job
Drivers and owner-operators are both boasting about the company. It’s such a rare sight in the trucking industry, so GP is doing something right. The company maintains a fleet of 340 trucks, and they’ve been listed on the Crain’s Fast 50 for outstanding growth. So that is what the buzz is about…
The company’s commitment to drivers and transparency has helped push them into one of the fastest growing trucking outfits in the country.
Truckload and less-than-truckload services are offered in all 48 contiguous United States and in Canada.
GP Transco Driver Salary Info
GP Transco is a company that stands behind its word, so if they say an owner-operator is going to be paid 80%, they’re paid 80%. You don’t have to read the fine print or meet quotas that are unrealistic for any driver.
Flat fee pay is available for empty and loaded, so you’ll be able to enjoy the same paid rate. Bracket pay is available, too. The pay is based per run, and the shorter the miles, the more you get paid.
Aside from benefits (listed below), truckers working for this company make:
[wp-review id=”3014″]

Why is the company’s pay so high?
GP Transco’s main recruiter, John Alverez is “one of the guys.”
John worked as a truck driver for 30 years prior to becoming a recruiter, so he knows how the industry works. John knows that truckers sacrifice a lot for their careers.
He has established a protocol within the company that offers transparency and honest pay.
If you’re going to be away from your family, driving across the country, you deserve pay that rewards you for your time.
Teams average an impressive $0.73 per mile, while solo drivers earn $0.58 – $0.65 per mile. Minimum weekly $1,250 guaranteed.
