How Leasing Works with Lone Mountain
With Lone Mountain, leasing is simple and straightforward. The price you see is the price you will pay each and every month.
There are no balloon payments at the end of your lease or hidden fees that drive up your monthly bill.
And after you’ve made your very last payment, you’ll receive the title to your truck. That’s right – Lone Mountain is in the business of lease to own semi trucks. And you can get behind the wheel of your very own rig sooner than you think.
New and used trucks are available, and Lone Mountain has four convenient locations: Las Vegas, NV; Carter Lake, IA; South Holland, IL; and Tifton, GA.
When leasing a new truck, Lone Mountain offers a 4-year, 500,000-mile factory warranty. Most used trucks include an engine warranty and new virgin drive tires.
Here’s how the leasing process works with Lone Mountain:
1. Browse Inventory of New and Used Trucks
Lone Mountain offers both new and used trucks, and you can view their inventory right on their website. When browsing, you can sort the results by year, make, engine and transmission.
Right now, the inventory includes trucks from 2007 – 2017, and from a variety of makes, including:
- Western Star
Most of the trucks in Lone Mountain’s inventory are between three and five years old, but you’ll find plenty of new models as well.
Best of all, each truck’s listing includes the down payment cost as well as the monthly cost and term of the lease (typically 60 months).
2. Apply Online
Once you’ve found a truck you’re interested in, you can submit an application online by clicking “Apply Now.”
It takes just five minutes to fill out the application, and Lone Mountain’s underwriters can get you approved within 24 hours.
You can also call the company to apply over the phone.
It’s important to note that you’ll need to supply the company with some personal information when submitting your application. The information that you’ll need to supply includes:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Years of Experience
- Truck Brand You’re Interested In
- New or Used
Lone Mountain will also ask how you found out about them and which salesperson you’re working with (if any).
3. Find the Right Truck
Once you’re approved, a sales representative from Lone Mountain will contact you to help you find a truck that suits your needs.
Next, you’ll take a trip to the lot to view the trucks in your price range. The company encourages you to take as much time as you’d like to look over the trucks and to bring the truck to a third party shop for inspection.
If a shop finds something wrong with the truck, Lone Mountain will fix the issue at no cost to you.
4. Drive Off With Your New Rig
Once you’ve found the right truck, you’re well on your way to becoming a successful owner operator. The final step is to drive off the lot and start making payments towards your new truck.
When your final payment is made, Lone Mountain will send you the title to your truck – no balloon payment required.
Leasing a semi truck has never been easier or simpler than with Lone Mountain leasing.
What Are the Credit Requirements To Lease A Semi Truck?
After reading through countless Lone Mountain truck leasing reviews, we’ve noticed one trend: the company is pretty flexible with their leases. And the sales representatives do all that they can to get each and every applicant approved.
It takes just 24 hours to get approved, and most people say they had no issues securing a lease. We’ve seen a few drivers say they were rejected, but there may have been other factors at play that were not divulged.
If you’re looking for no credit check semi truck financing, you won’t find it here – I doubt you’ll find it anywhere. But Lone Mountain has been known to offer semi truck financing for bad credit.
According to the company’s terms and conditions, applicants must authorize Cresco Capital, Inc. to run a preliminary credit report for the approval process. Cresco Capital will be the one who approves or denies your application based solely on your credit and income.
Additional documentation may be required, and the information you provide may need to be verified by the company.
Lone Mountain does not offer semi truck financing with no money down, but their down payment requirements are more than reasonable. You can lease a year-old truck for $9,500 down and just $2,525 per month.
Lone Mountain also has a reputation for being flexible in terms of payments. Many drivers have shared tales of running into repair issues and having the company adjust their payment schedule to ensure they don’t get behind on their lease. You’d be hard-pressed to find a bank that would do the same.
Why Lease with Lone Mountain?
Why lease with Lone Mountain anyway? Why not choose another company or a bank? If you have pristine credit and enough money to put down a large down payment, a bank may extend you a loan.
But for the rest of us, Lone Mountain is the best – and one of the only – options out there. You don’t have to have perfect credit to be approved, and you know exactly how much you’ll be paying on your lease each month. There are no surprises, and once you pay off your lease, the truck will be yours.
Lone Mountain deals with truckers – people just like you. They understand the business and the challenges you face on a daily basis. With attractive lease options and no surprise fees, many successful owner operators started their careers by leasing a truck through Lone Mountain.
